    dear kriesi team,

    i have set up a team page with standard image container and a zoom effect on over. but there is a problem in chrome: the images are unsharp. when you hover over the images they get sharp, but when they snap back to original size they “switch” to unsharp. it seems to work correctly in firefox but not in chrome.

    does anyone know how to fix this? link and login in private content.

    Hey Pixel_Production,

    Thanks for the login details, I can’t see any unsharpness on my end using Chrome though. Did you try clearing your browser cache and reload the page, or opening it in an incognito window in Chrome?

    hi rikard,

    yes, i did everything. i tested it also on different computers. its always the same phenomenon.
    just to be clear: if you hover over an image it gets bigger. if you left the image the image gets smaller again, staying sharp, but when it reach its final size it “switch” to blurry. i hope you understand.

    first image shows the last frame of the “back to original size” animation when u turn off the mouse. here its sharp. but in the last frame (second image) it gets unsharp.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback, though I’m struggling to see any difference between the two images in your screenshot. What exactly do you mean is unsharp?

    hi rikard,

    the image on the right is less sharp than the left one. please take a closer look. you can see it in the eyes or the beard. you can see it best when hovering and leaveing the image.

    please try the following: hover over one of the images on the team page and wait for the zoom effect to be finished. now move the mouse out and wait for the image to snap back. on the last frame it seems to snap back to fit the container, but you can cleary see the image gets unsharp. only visible in chrome…

    Hi,
    I have tested in Chrome 59.0.3071.115 for windows, yet can see no difference. Is that the same version you are using?

    i’ve got the same version. i have tested this now on several computers and its always the same. please take a closer look again.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late reply. We’ve had the whole team look at this and neither one of us can see any difference unfortunately. Could you record a video of what you are seeing on your end maybe?
