Maybe this is a stupid question, but I’m going to ask anyway ;-).
II’ve quite some images on my website (I’m a photographer). Within a few weeks I received a message from my webhoster that I need to upgrade, because I’m using all of the available diskspace. After some checking I noticed that images used on my site are saved in many different sizes. This takes a lot of diskspace. Is there something I can do about this? I’m quite shocked, because my website isn’t even that big (yet).
Hi kashmyra!
Thank you for using Enfold.
Every time you upload an image, wp or the theme creates different thumbnails or versions of the uploaded image. Each thumbnails are designated to different elements on the theme such as masonry, lightbox, testimonial, news widget etc. You can remove the thumbnails(not recommended) by using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
Best regards,
Ismael
