All images on our site that are designed to present as a lightbox just open as a new page.
We don’t want users to leave the page when they view an image. It does not seem to matter what type of image block is used, if lightbox is enabled, it presents the image on a new page.page with image on it (It’s the carousel by the instructor bio): https://visualartspassage.com/illustration-courses/process-skill-and-craft/

Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (6.0.8) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/. If not, then please try to temporarily deactivate all plugins to see what happens then.
