    Hi

    I not sure whats going on – I seem to be having all sorts of issues this week :(

    The images in my sliders are not showing on the live site even though they are showing in the edit page and view page on wordpress? Why is this?

    I wondered if I had deleted the images by mistake when trying to clean up the storage etc earlier this week, but even when I reload them they still are not showing on the live site – but again show on the preview?

    Hi generatrorassociates!

    Had a look at your site.

    I believe you might have migrated your site to the domain. You will need to perform a search and replace in your layerslider database table
    for /new/wp-content and ereplace it with http://www.generatorservicing.com/wp-content

    Thanks for your reply.

    I changed that weeks ago though and the sliders worked after that.

    Its only in the past few days they have disappeared?

    How do I access the table?

    123-Reg the hosting provider also told me that they did the following earlier this week – could this be the culprit?

    “In order to hopefully make the loading process shorter, I have made several adjustments in the .htaccess config file from the “/public_html” folder, activating gzip compression and browser caching for the website. These settings should significantly improve the navigation experience for your visitors and also inside the WordPress dashboard.
    I have also made further changes to the wp-config.php file of your WordPress website, in order to make sure that the website is fully using the memory provided by the hosting package. The changes were done according to this guide:

    They should have images on them that come up not just the background:

    This is the views from my edit layersider in wp and the site live.

    Basically it is the images – for example on another sldie – slide 2 of the layerslider not detailed in the pictures I’ve attached – it is loading the background the the scrolling text input but missing the UPS image out that is uploaded to it?

    HI Again

    I think I have solved it – during the week I installed Jetpacks PHOTON to try and reduce the page load time – I have just deactivated that and hey presto the images are now appearing….
