    Hi There,

I have been using some high resolution images for example in my slider and they look great (2560 x 1645 pixels at 2mb)) If I add this same iamge to a grid row it becomes pixellated. The enfold pics that come with the theme are at highest resolution 1716 x 1166 at 500 kb).

I dont really understand why my images look so blurred in the grid row but are perfect in the slider wheras the enfold images look the same quality across both slider and gridrow formats.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Please see my link below to the webpage in question to see the slider and gridrow image side by side to illustrate the difference

    Hey Sonotheme,

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

    Best regards,

    Dear Victoria,

Hi sorry not sure why you cant access I did provide credentials but I know there is an issue logging through WP for me so I normally have to go in to WP via Siteground.

I have put a link to a screenshot of the issue below. The Image at the top is the gridrow and at the bottom is the slider and you see that the gridrow is much more pixellated

    Hi,

Thanks for that. I can’t find the element on your actual site though, could you link directly to the page instead of the preview URL please? I checked the page in private but couldn’t see a Grid Row element on the page.

    Best regards,

    Dear Victoria,

I also have exactly the same problem with the grid row. Do you guys have a solution already? It seems that whenever you insert an image as a cell background you have to choose the right attachment display settings. Only then I get high resolution pictures. For example if you choose medium 300 x 200 and select scale to fit or stretch to fit the image becomes pixalated. It should be better to choose a custom width.

But i hope you guys have found a better solution then I came up with.

    Regards,
    Orville

    Hi Orville,

The size won’t be selected automatically for you, you would need to select an appropriate file size in the ATTACHMENT DISPLAY SETTINGS option when picking the image from the WordPress gallery.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
