After updating WP to 5.5 and Enfold to 4.6.7.3 I recently wanted to add a new gallery to our website as done several times before. All 63 images are of the same height, but nor the same width. In the last row, the first few columns are not populated with thumbnails. Rearraging the images does not lead to a better result.
Initially, I had used images with the same width but various height and the effect was even worse, gaps appearing in the thumbnails in various rows.
Gaps appear always at the start of a row.
Pre-existing gallieries do not have this problem.September 3, 2020 at 2:04 pm #1243093Hey cschmimo,
Thank you for the inquiry.
The site is on maintenance, so we couldn’t check the gallery page. Please provide a direct link to the page containing the gallery and post the login details in the private field so that we can access the site.

September 5, 2020 at 3:57 am #1243503Hi,
Thanks for that. I’m not sure if I can reproduce the problem you are describing though, please see screenshot in private for what I’m seeing on my end using Chrome. Could you try to explain the problem a bit further or post a screenshot of what you are seeing on your end please?
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 6, 2020 at 11:32 am #1243716Hi Rikard,
thanks for following up.
The picture (see private content) is also showing a view with a current Chrome on Win10 64-bit.
Please look at the bottom of the first gallery where the last row is “indented” by two images.
Depending on how I arrange the images in the gallery, the “indenting” effect can also appear elsewhere.
This is the first time, I have used images where the originals are not all the same size.
I could minimize the “indenting” effect to its current level by ensuring that all images are of same height before uploading to WP.
I have used the gallery in multiple other instances and not yet run into this effect.
Do you have any suggestions?Regards
ChristianSeptember 8, 2020 at 6:28 am #1244167Hi Christian,
I have checked it using Windows 10 64-bit and Google Chrome 85.0.4183.83 (Official Build) (64-bit) and I couldn’t see any issue, please see the screenshot in private content. Can you try to clear the browser cache or use Chrome’s incognito mode?
Regards,
NikkoSeptember 8, 2020 at 7:34 am #1244187Hi NIkko,
strrange. Godd that you do not see the indent.
I have emptied the browser cache on all my browsers and I continue to see the “indent” in Chrome, Edge and Firefox on Windows 10 as well as on Safari on our iPads. I also continue to see the “indent” in Incognito mode.
Any other suggestions?Regards,
ChristianSeptember 8, 2020 at 10:54 am #1244239Hi Christian,
I have checked it on Firefox and Edge as well and it looks good.
Are you familiar with using a web inspector? if you are I suggest you’ll right-click and inspect the images and find out their height.
Just do it on all images on the 10th row, maybe it’s higher on the first 2 columns in the 10th row.
I have inspected it and the actual height (including the padding) it’s 148.09px on all images.Best regards,

I’ve replied to the thread you started already, please don’t post more than once for the same problem.

RikardSeptember 26, 2020 at 3:41 pm #1248689This is a forum i thought? for people to support one another? To speak to others with the same issue…..

I guess you can call it that, but the moderators are the ones who help in 99%+ of all questions. You can view a new thread as a new support ticket if you like.

RikardSeptember 30, 2020 at 9:55 am #1249604Hi Nikko,
while I had created all pictures to have the same height, the renderings generated upon importing have different heights, but the same width.
Going forward, I will only put images of the same size in a gallery, but I consider this a serious limitation.Warm regards
ChristianOctober 1, 2020 at 4:23 am #1249783Hi Christian,
We apologize for the inconvenience however we are only using the standard WordPress has set in generating these image sizes.
Once again we thank you for using Enfold and have a wonderful day :)Best regards,
Nikko -
