Hi Kriesi
I have a site that has a page that mixes images in text boxes with featured images generated through a post grid. The images in columns are not great quality when shown in PC / laptop view. When in mobile view and then fill more of the width of the page it is better quality. Please could you explain how to increase the quality of the smaller images please.
See below for link to page.
Many thanks, HelenAugust 19, 2021 at 6:15 am #1317436Hey helban,
Thank you for the inquiry.
The page above does not exist. Did you remove it, or did you set the site on maintenance mode? Please post the login details in the private field so that we could check the issue properly. A screenshot will also help.
Best regards,

Thank you for the update.
Are you trying to increase the image size of the product thumbnails? Try to go to the Appearance > Customize > Woocommerce > Product Images panel and adjust the value of the Thumbnail width option.
Please check the following documentation for more info.

IsmaelAugust 24, 2021 at 11:26 am #1318102Hi Ismael, I am not trying to increase the size of the image but to increase the quality of the thumbnail. The top section called Private Appointments images are directly entered on the page in columns, these do not display as good quality as the ones below that are fed via the post system.
We would like the images to be consistent so they display at the best quailty no matter how they are placed on the page please.
With regards, Helen
August 25, 2021 at 6:59 am #1318227Hi,
Thank you for the info.
Looks like you are now using larger images for the thumbnails (see private field). By selecting or by using a larger image size, you will actually improve the quality of the thumbnails.

IsmaelAugust 26, 2021 at 4:16 pm #1318482Yes Ismael I am. All the images on the site are 800 pixels wide including the ones in the product grid. This is so that when the coluns collapse in mobile view to fill the width of the screen they work well there too. Please advise why they are different in one area from anothe on the same page?
I need to make these match.
Regards
HelenAugust 27, 2021 at 9:18 am #1318601Hi,
The shop_catalogue thumbnail, which is the default thumbnail used in the product grid, has a maximum width of 300px by default. And as we mentioned above, you could change it by adjusting the Thumbnail width option in the Appearance > Customize > Woocommerce > Product Images panel. Did you try to adjust the width value?
Best regards,
Ismael -
