Hello
When uploading a new image a blank box appears in the media library and the image cannot be used.
If I click on it then click ‘edit image’ it appears!! (but still cannot be used)I have deactivated all plugins and problem still persists
I have tried with several different images, all below max file size and problem still persists
There are no error messages, the upload process seems to function normallyAny ideas?

Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.

VictoriaMarch 7, 2020 at 9:51 am #1191085Hi Victoria
As on original ticket – I have already gone through this process and it has not solved the issue.
SEO image optimizer was only installed after the issue occurred in an attempt to resolve it.
March 8, 2020 at 5:13 am #1191204Hi,
Thanks for the update. It looks like you are getting some mixed content warnings due to http/https, do you have an SSL certificate for the site? If so then please try to activate it, and change the site URL to https in the Settings menu in WordPress.
I see that uploads have worked in the past, but the last working image was uploaded in 2015?

RikardMarch 8, 2020 at 12:44 pm #1191249Not sure what you have done but now the site is not working.
Editor pages have now slowed to taking minutes to load and am getting 504 errors.PLEASE FIX.
Yes there is an SSL, yes it’s configured correctly.
Whatever you have done has made matters worse!! Please rectify immediately….
March 9, 2020 at 4:11 am #1191365Hi,
We haven’t changed anything on your site. If you are getting 504 errors then there’s likely something wrong with your server: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/261536/http-status-504. Please try reaching out to your hosting provider to see if they can help you out with that.

March 9, 2020 at 2:14 pm #1191533Hi,
Thanks for the update. Does the same problem happen if you activate one of the default WordPress themes?
Best regards,
RikardMarch 9, 2020 at 2:32 pm #1191537Yes, I’ve tried that…..
March 10, 2020 at 6:17 am #1191708Hi,
Thanks for the update. So the same problem happens when you activate a different theme? If so it would mean that it’s not a theme related problem.
There are 404 errors for all the files which are not showing, please try reaching out to your hosting provider to see if they can tell you why that is. It might be a problem with the server or the permission settings for the upload folder.
Best regards,
Rikard -
