Image Upload broken after installing Enfold with Prophoto theme already installe

I have already been using the Prophoto theme but now decided to move to Enfold as I love this theme.

I have been playing with this for the last four days and struggling with Image Upload issue. First I was getting HTTP Error and then Unknown error after the image is uploaded.

To avoid breaking my main website, I created a clone of my existing WordPress theme with Prophoto as primary theme and Enfold installed but not Activated. I activated Enfold, download the Enfold Restaurant Single Page Demo and start tweaking it. Thats when the image upload error started coming. When I switch back to Prophoto, everything works. I changed the uploads folder permission to 775 but still no-go. So, I try to reinstall the enfold theme by first deleting it from the web interface and then try the image upload using my Prophoto theme and even that failed. :(

Thats when I noticed a funny thing… and its funny :D. When I click on Media Library, all the left side menus show options about Enfold but when I click on any other sections like Theme or Posts, I see ProPhoto menu options. Now I am totally baffled and confused so reach out to u guys for help.
