Hello, I am trying to build a page that looks like the page I Linked to in the private content below. Can you please tell me how I would do this in your theme? I was able to create the other pages, just having trouble with this type of image slider. Basically One main image that will change when you click the thumbnail or the next or previous buttons. Please help. Thanks. Jess

BasilisApril 6, 2016 at 3:43 pm #609017Hi Basilis,
Thank you so much for getting back to me. I am so lost! With this page I had tried a few different ways to create this but I do not know how to make it so that the large image will behave like an image slider and will change when the thumbnails are clicked. I will post a link to the test site below. I have created a test page, just not sure how to make this work. Any help is greatly appreciated!The goal is to make it so that you go from the Category projects page:
Urban, Suburban or Renovations & Additions to the individual project page which would have the thumbnails and larger image like in the link I gave before.April 6, 2016 at 8:38 pm #609160Hi again, so I have created the thumbnails which display in the pop up color box. Do you know if there is a way to set it so that it would display as in the mock up?
April 8, 2016 at 4:14 pm #610305Hello, just checking in. Any help would be appreciated.
April 8, 2016 at 5:27 pm #610343Okay! I figured it out, sort of! Now I need to know if there is a way to change the max height of the main image. Our layout is set for 750 by 450. That is not one of the options in the drop down. Can I add a new selection?? So close!!!
April 8, 2016 at 6:50 pm #610361Okay so this is frustrating. I have started to resize my images so that they would display properly but they are being resized for some reason. If you go to the link below and then right click on the image and view source you will see it is being resized.
Now the gallery settings are as follow:
Big Image with thumbnails below
no scaling (original width X original height)
No, do not force same size
Thumbnail 80×80
6
No, don’t add a link to the images at all
show animation when user scrolls to the galleryWhy is it resizing the larger image to make it huge???
April 8, 2016 at 6:51 pm #610362The size of the images on that page should be 336×450
April 8, 2016 at 6:56 pm #610365I added another template below the one that is acting strange. In this one I had to resize the images again to make the width the 750. Is there a way to have the images display at their actual size? SO that I do not have to add a width of 750 to the tall images like on this page??
April 11, 2016 at 1:58 pm #611260Hi!
please open different tickets for different issues/questions, otherwise it gets very confusing for us moderators and for people trying to search help in this forum. WordPress is cropping images by default when uploading them and you can control this behavior with a plugin like: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
Best regards,
AndyApril 11, 2016 at 3:58 pm #611396This is all a part of the same problem. Trying to get the theme to work with my design. No. WP is not resizing the image. The image is the correct size when you go into the media library. Why is the slider resizing them?
April 12, 2016 at 5:29 pm #612041Hi!
yes WP is always resizing all images when uploading them. This is WP default behavior. WP creates lots of different image sizes when uploading one image. You can control this behavior with the plugin I mentioned.

AndyApril 12, 2016 at 5:40 pm #612043I do not understand your reply. The image is not resized. In the WP Library it is the correct size. It is in the gallery that it is incorrect. This has been particularly unhelpful.
April 12, 2016 at 5:41 pm #612044I tried the plugin and the behaviour is no different. Do not bother replying. I believe i am beyond your ability to assist at this point.
April 14, 2016 at 8:06 am #613565Hey!
Did you add white spaces to the image to cope with the issue Could you please provide a screenshot of the expected layout? The width of the images in the gallery is set to 100% which means that they will adapt to the width of the gallery container. Set the width to auto if you want to see the original size of the image;
#top div .avia-gallery img { width: auto; }
