Hi there,
I’m having trouble with the Image Sizes in the blog previews and also in the single post layout, since I would need a portrait (upright) format.
I tried to set up a masonry Blog, where I can tag the preview picture, but
1. I cannot get it next to the sidebar (even when I put it into a color section)
2. it only fixes the preview picture, but the ones in the single post layout are still cut of
3. the headlines in the post preview are not formatted as well.
I tried to get it with the simple image sizes plug in, but obviously I cannot find the one I need to adjust.
I puut links in the private content and also admin login credentials, in case you need that…
I’d appreciate some help.
Thanks Katrin
Hey onesmile,
Wordpress is cropping images by default when uploading them and if you want to control this behavior you can use a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes
I hope this will help :).
Best regards,
Andy
Hey Andy,
I’m sorry but this does not help me, since I already found that plug in (see message above)
Which format do I have to adapt? There is Portfolio and Magazine but no one called blog or single Post image size…
In case you need to take look at it, see links I send before.
Thanks,
Hi,
For that page, you have to modify the “square” thumbnail.
http://neu.dressurstall-zagers.de/?page_id=3248
For this one, you can edit the blog posts element then set the Preview Image Size to manual. Choose the thumbnail size that you want. And you can do the same for the blog page: http://neu.dressurstall-zagers.de/?page_id=3248
Make sure that the Enfold > Blog Layout > Blog Layout is set to use the advance layout builder.
Best regards,
Ismael
Thanks Ismael! I found the square Thumbnail and edited it to 200px x 400px. I also regenerated the picture size but it still shows square…?
You said “you can edit the blog posts element then set the preview image size to manual.” Where do I do that?
Found it! Thanks!
