Hi – I’m using the fullscreen slider from the demo. I see three options of sizes – no scaling, 1030 x 1030 and 1500 x 1500. I want to feature my paintings, so if I put a full vertical painting, it just shows a part. I figure it’s better if I choose which part it shows, so I am going to crop and size my images before uploading.
Question: Why are the sizes square 1500 x 1500 if the slider is a rectangle? What px size should I crop my images for them to show in the slider properly and without the quality being compromised? Will 1500 make it slow to upload?
Thanks.
April 8, 2015 at 6:04 pm #425487I’ve searched through the forum, but haven’t found an answer. Can anyone help? What are the best pixel dimensions for me to crop images in Photoshop before uploading to Fullscreen Slider? The dimension choices under are square, but the actual image seen on my computer is rectangle.
Thanks.April 8, 2015 at 6:18 pm #425496Just an update – i tried a 1500 x 470 crop before upload, but now it doesn’t show the full width – it crops the right of the image and when I change the browser size how much of the right varies, but it still not the full width. I’ve got the general layout at 100% for Enfold. Thought that might be the issue.
April 8, 2015 at 9:39 pm #425614Hi dominiquehurley;
i’ve used 974*615px inorder to “see” the whole imageApril 9, 2015 at 2:21 pm #425945I’m concerned that if I use 974 and they have a 1500 setting, they’ll resize and pixelate my images. Is there any official guidelines? I don’t want those on a slower Internet to wait too long or else they’ll leave the site. Thanks.

here is one of the demo page of Enfold http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/homepage/transparent-header/. The size of the images are 813*738 and 974*615 and they look enough good.
I think you can crop your paintings either 974*615 or 1000*631pxApril 10, 2015 at 10:28 am #426461Hi!
