On what resolution are you seeing this blurriness? it is expected to show some blurriness if viewed on a window size bigger than the image itself: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/files/2013/06/tablet-2-1500×1500.jpg

Im using Windows XP , Mozilla Firefox , 1280px x 1024px screen http://c2n.me/iDVxcDand blur effect in the Firefox only : http://c2n.me/iDVzRC ( Safari , Chrome – ok )

Tested on other laptop 1280px x 800px – same blur effect in Firefox. ( Chrome – OK )regards
