I have a 4-cell grid row on my page and in the last cell, I placed an image. The link settings for the image are set to “lightbox”. However, when I click on the image, it opens up the image file as though the link settings were set to open the media file in the window not in a lightbox.
I tried placing this same image in a different area of the page – within a 3/4 layout block inside of a color section. I used the same link settings as the other one. When I click on this image, it opens in a lightbox as expected.
I have tried a hard refresh on my browser, de-activating plugins and also tried it in IE and Firefox (I’m using Chrome). I have the same behavior in all browsers.
I’ve left the image in both places on the page indicated in the private content so that you can see the behavior. Please advise on how to get the image within the grid row to open in a lightbox. Thanks.
January 5, 2017 at 6:03 am #729727Hey Jill,
Thank you for using Enfold.
Did you set the “Image Link?” to “Lightbox”? Please post the login details here so that we can check the settings.
Best regards,

January 26, 2017 at 10:12 am #738808Hi!
This is still not working. Please activate the account.
ERROR: User has not been activated.
I created the same setup on my installation and the lightbox is working.
Cheers!
IsmaelJanuary 26, 2017 at 4:27 pm #739019Ok – activated. I tried the login and was able to login without error. Try again.
January 31, 2017 at 5:50 am #740478Hi!
The grid row is outside the main container, that’s why the lightbox is not working. We moved the columns above the grid row element inside a color section. This is a small glitch in the advance layout builder but it can be easily fix by moving all element or set of elements inside their own color sections.
Cheers!
IsmaelMay 2, 2017 at 11:36 am #786280I have the same problem! And i can not just move the image into another section. I had to choose the grid row element because of the special devision.
So how can i make the lightbox work for an image in a grid row element?
Please do not ask for login details. This is a general problem which you can reconstruct in one of your demos.
Thanks Simon

May 2, 2017 at 1:00 pm #786313hey Ismael i tried to achive this “the grid row is out of main” – i can not reconstruct that by only using alb. So how can this be?
May 3, 2017 at 3:01 am #786837Hi,
And i can not just move the image into another section.
We didn’t move or replace the grid row with a color section. We moved the columns above the grid row element in the page inside another color section to contain them inside a wrapper.
@Guenni007: This is a small glitch in the builder and it’s quite intermittent. It seems to occur if a combination of elements are present in the builder but it doesn’t happen on most installations.Best regards,
IsmaelMay 3, 2017 at 8:26 am #786964Hi Ismael,
i can not move the image elements or columns outside the grid row because then the layout would not be possible as you see in the screenshot. In a color section this division is not possible So how can i fix this problem?May 3, 2017 at 8:27 pm #787371Hi,
Maybe you do need to add some custom HTML & CSS to modify the view and bring it to your needs.
I think that the best case scenario is to consider to hire someone who will be able to help you with everything.Best regards,
BasilisMay 4, 2017 at 9:07 am #787651So there is no solution for, making the lightbox work when the element is in a grid section?
May 5, 2017 at 10:56 am #788301Hi,
@simonac: The lightbox should work in the grid container by default. Again, you don’t need to move the images outside the grid container. Your situation and the original poster are different. It’s not working for OP because the grid section in his page is outside the wrap_all container. Could you please create another thread and post the login details there so that we can check the layout of the page with the grid section?Best regards,
