I’ve searched repeatedly and used ideas from several threads but can’t seem to be able to get an image (a .gif actually) in my sidebar. Help!
I’ve seen others request it – I’d love an image widgit please!
I’m using this code in a text box (in private content):
July 28, 2016 at 5:52 pm #666359I’m posting the html code again since the .gif showed up as the image itself.
July 28, 2016 at 6:14 pm #666367Hey!
You can try add a text widget, and inside the text widget add the following html
<img src="http://www.myheartsbliss.com/wp-content/uploads/graphics-waving-294965-1.gif" />
let us know if that works out for you
Cheers!

Any other suggestions? An image widget maybe?? ;)

On what page are you trying this? Please link directly to it so that we can have a look.
Thanks,
RikardAugust 3, 2016 at 4:07 pm #668118I want it as a widgit so I can add it as a sidebar to ALL of my pages or whichever page I want. Right now I have it as a text box in the “displayed everywhere” widget AND as a text box in the “sidebar pages” widget and still nothing shows up. To test it I have my homepage set up as “sidebar pages” but there is no .gif there. Link to my homepage is in the private section.
August 3, 2016 at 4:08 pm #668120I also have it set up on another website but it is not working there either. That link is in the private content as well.
August 3, 2016 at 4:15 pm #668128Hi,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
Login credentials include:
- The URL to the login screen.
- A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
- As well as a password for that username.
- permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.
Best regards,
YigitAugust 3, 2016 at 4:39 pm #668153Well, now when I added a new user I could see the .gif in the sidebar but I actually go to the websites in another browser there is nothing. I have actually had this problem with Enfold for some time now. Sometimes it just won’t update. Even my website developer couldn’t get it to update so I know it is not just me and at one point I asked for a refund but ended up going back to Enfold because I already knew it now this is happening again. The login info for both sites is below in private. I’m sure I have it all added in correctly.
August 3, 2016 at 4:52 pm #668159Hi!
There was a small HTML error in your code i fixed it and it did show up fine on the second site but logins did not work for the first site. If you would like us to look into it as well, please check logins once again
Best regards,
YigitAugust 3, 2016 at 6:03 pm #668202I ended up getting it fixed with your code even in the first site but I can’t figure out how to close the gap between the animated gif and the opt in box? The login details for the site listed in the private content should now work and I have the text box with the code in the widget under the MHB General Small Box Opt In widget on the widgets page.
