We are using the WooCommerce section within tabs to display images of products …
Some of the images (although the raw images are the same size) appear like they are shorter …

Everywhere the images appears is it shorter than the other images.

Make sure that you select the correct thumbnail size when setting the image. It’s currently set to 450×450 thumbnail.

Why would this make some images display a different size to other images when all of the raw images are 1200×1200?

Wordpress is cropping images by default when uploading. You can control them going to WooCommerce->Settings->Products->Product Images as already mentioned or you could even try a plugin like:

Wordpress is cropping images to lots of different sizes. If you have more questions about general WordPress behavior feel free to ask in a general WordPress forum.

If I put the default WordPress theme on, all images are the same height.
Does this not suggest it is something Enfold is doing?

But i Still dont understand why when an image starts off the same size e.g. 1200×1200, why one would get resized a different size to the other.
Surely it would reduce all images equally?

For the Woocommerce product image sizes you can set those in Dashboard > Woocommerce > Products > Display.
