Hi
I got a problem with image caption that doesn’t adapt to different sizes of the image. What I want to achieve is to have an image with image caption/text on it as custom heading – I know how to do that. But as I put a text/h1 heading over the image, and resize the window/viewport, the text does not resize accordingly. I have found a solution how to force the text to resize but unfortunatelly it does not stick to the place where it should be visible on/over the image – I assume the caption container is independent from the image container (it does not change it’s size). I would like the text to behave as it was printed over the image in the place I choose it to be, especially during resizing the web browser window / change of viewport. Unfortunately I could not find the answer neither on the forum nor in the documentation.
Please help.July 1, 2018 at 10:54 am #979787Hey Autostopowicz,
I’m not sure I understand what you mean, could you post a link to where we can see the elements in question and point out the problems there please?

Here You go – link as private content.
Trying to make it clearer: I want the image with the caption to behave like an image that has text written on it (as a part of it). It may of course wrap/break the line but while resizing the image (when changing viewport) I want the text to stay for example in top right corner of the image. Just as if You were resizing a picture with text printed on it, but with the difference that the text may be broken in to two peaces (two or more lines).- This reply was modified 6 years, 4 months ago by Autostopowicz.
July 2, 2018 at 7:38 am #979967Hi,
Thanks for the clarification. As far as I know, that is not possible unfortunately, if you want a result like that then I think you will have actually incorporate the text into the image itself, or maybe try to make the whole thing into an svg element?

Oh, I see. It’s too bad. Thanks for the prompt but in this case I probably will move the caption/heading above the image.
