Hello,
Please take a look at this page:
http://www.frontlijn.nl/nieuws/As you can see, the pictures are perfect aligned and shown full for the maximum width useable.
If you go to a news-item, for example this one:
http://www.frontlijn.nl/prettige-vakantie-2015/All of the sudden the image is out of the container. I want it to be exact as the page with all the blog posts
and that it uses the full width possible and not go over it…Can you tell me how I can make this happen?
July 24, 2015 at 11:10 am #478127Hi Groeier!,
You seem to be using a different image there, which is itself cutoff: http://www.frontlijn.nl/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/frontlijn-prettige-vakantie-2015-845×321.jpg. Could you check please?
Best regards,
RikardJuly 24, 2015 at 11:37 am #478139Hello Rikard,
The picture itself stands here: http://www.frontlijn.nl/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/frontlijn-prettige-vakantie-2015.jpg
Because it’s a blogpost, the theme cuts it off to 845*321 and puts this in the article.
W’ve added http://www.frontlijn.nl/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/frontlijn-prettige-vakantie-2015.jpg
in the post and haven’t done nothing else ourselves. So I think the settings should be different to get the picture right in the blog post.
On the blog page with al the posts is works good.
It’s just a problem on the single blog posts.Greets Jeen

July 29, 2015 at 6:58 am #480040Hi!
Use this plugin to adjust the dimension of the “entry_with_sidebar” thumbnail. https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/
Install the plugin then go to the Settings > Media panel. Look for the thumbnail, adjust the size then regenerate the images.

IsmaelJuly 29, 2015 at 12:09 pm #480137Hello Ismael,
Thanks for the reply. I’ve altered the image size and regenerated the images.
Does the theme understands automaticly that the new picture size should be visable,
because it doesn’t seems that way?Gr. Jeen

I logged in to the site to check the settings but I can’t see the Settings > Media panel. Can you please provide the url?

I checked your media setting and you defined 767x321px for “entry_with_sidebar size”, which seems to work fine. So are you happy now? if not please provide a link showing the single blog post image in question. Clear browser cache and hard refresh your website a few times.
Cheers!
AndyAugust 3, 2015 at 3:35 pm #482156Hello Andy,
I cleared the browser cache. Also refreshed the page a couple of times, but still has the same picture.
This page: http://www.frontlijn.nl/nieuws/ is working fine.
But it worked fine before I even installed the plugin. The problem is the single blog page:
http://www.frontlijn.nl/prettige-vakantie-2015/The picture size hasn’t been changed en still goes out of the container.

August 3, 2015 at 5:01 pm #482269Hey!
ah so you are talking about your featured image, right? then you would need to change the size for the featured image of course :). Go into you media settings and change values for “featured size” or “featured_large size”. Afterwards regenerate thumbnails and clear browser cache.
Hope this will help.

AndyAugust 4, 2015 at 4:10 pm #482782Hello,
Everything works great. The new dimentions worked, but I had selected that the image needed to crop.
That was incorrect. After I changes that setting, everything works fine now. Thanks for the help!
