    Hey KaJoHa,

I have checked your site and I’m still not sure why it’s not working on IE 11 though it works fine on Microsoft Edge and other browsers, I have tested the Fullwidth Easy Slider on IE 11 and it works fine so I don’t think this is a bug on the theme. Can you try to disable all plugins and check if the issues is still there, flush out the cache if you have a caching plugin. If the issue is gone after disabling all plugins, try to enable them one by one and check to find out what plugin is causing the issue, if that doesn’t help, please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi,

the plugin autoptimize caused the issue. It’s the third time it causes problems with one of my website projects. Also wp super cache caused issues. Can you reccomend other caching and css, javascript, etc. minifying plugins?

Sometimes the websites i make load really slow, and i don’t know why – images are not too big, most of my websites are very small anyway. I am not using many plugins, enfold mostly has everything in need :)…

I check them with Google PageSpeed Insights and https://freetools.seobility.net/de/seocheck and the rankings are not so good….

Can you give me a hint?

    thank you
    Katharina

    Hi Katharina,

There are many plugin to chose from when it comes to caching and minification, I think you will have to try your way forward to see what works for your site and what doesn’t.

If you are looking to speed your site up then you might find some useful information in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/seo-google-page-insights-blocking-rendering-ressources-above-the-fold/. I would recommend that you use Pingdom or GTmetrics instead if you want to measure the loading speed of your site. Google Page Speed doesn’t really do that.

If you are looking to hire someone to speed up your sites then I can recommend a service like SteadyWP.

    Hi,

As i am not really a tech geek, i try to avoid doing things when i don’t understand what i am doing. So i didn’t dare to use one of the wp super and fastest an whatever chaching plugins. Or will all changes they make to the website be canceld by deaktivating the plugin? If so, i could give it a try.

Nevertheless, i again acitvated autoptimize and only optimized css and html, not javascript. The website works fine on all browsers i testet, including IE. Further, i gziped the website, wich was quite easy to do with this description (unfortunatley in german) http://magazin.phlow.de/wordpress/beschleunigen/

I increased the perfomance grade on pingdom to a B (83%) and reach a SEO score on https://freetools.seobility.net/de/seocheck/ of 74%. Wich is not perfect but much better than it was before :)

    best regards
    Katharina

    Hi Katharina,

Great, glad you made some progress. The changes should be removed when deactivating plugins like that, but if they are not the changes are likely in the .htaccess file on your site.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
