    Hi,

    I am trying to embed a video from a non youtube, vimeo etc link and have tried embedding it into my site using the text block in the text tab and for some reason it does not show. My site uses ssl and the link is not ssl, so I was wondering if it’s that, that might be causing it.

    I seem to be able to embed youtube videos but the links work correctly on the owners web site.

    All I get is a blank space.

    Hey thorntonp72,

    I could only see images on the page you linked to, where are you trying to show the actual video?

    Hi Rikard,

    Sorry, my bad. I started changing stuff later that day, however the following may explain the difference. I believe it has something to do with the http and https. If you go to either of these pages in the the Private Content it will show when it works and when it does not.

    The URL links embedded into the page refer to non https pages, so this might be the issue, but I want to try and keep my site completely secure, so not sure how I can fix this as the referring links do not have https.

    Hi Paul,

    You’re right, it’s due to https. Please see the error message in private. I think you will have to serve that content over https if you want it to work.
