    Good day! I hope this message find you and your team well. I have been trying to fix the issue of icons displaying as boxes on our website (efcc.ca) and have applied your recommended changes (Icon – Enfold Documentation) to the .htaccess file. Unfortunately, the issue still persists. It is only through refreshing the page do the icons display properly. I would appreciate it if you could point me to what is possibly causing it in our case. Thank you in advance for your help.

    Thanks for the login details. Does it make any difference if you temporarily deactivate all plugins?

    Hi Rikard!
    I just deactivated all plugins but unfortunately, it didn’t fix the issue. I have checked it on different browsers and all except one (Firefox) didn’t work.

    Hi,

    It works as expected if you set the Custom Font Display Behaviour option to auto under Enfold->Performance.

    Thank you, Rikard! That was easy. Should I leave modifications on .htaccess as recommended here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/icon/#icons-are-showing-as-rectangular-boxes- ?

    Hi Mitch,

    Thanks for the update. If it’s working as it should now, then I don’t see any reason to change anything. But if you don’t need that modification, then it can be removed.
