    I´m trying to upload a Fontello icon zip file via the Iconfont Manager Import/Export feature but I´m getting the following error message: “Couldn’t add the font because the server didn’t respond. Please reload the page, then try again”. So, I reloaded and tried again with no luck. I then called GoDaddy, my web hosting company, they tried to upload other files without any problems, so we don´t know what´s causing the problem. Any advice? Thanks.

    I ‘ve Face same problem on live server. on local server it works fine, I just move my wordpress website to live and upload the theme setting file its working fine, but custom Fontello icon fonts are not installed . following message appear after selecting zip file
    Couldn’t add the font because the server didn’t respond.
    Please reload the page, then try again

    Enfold theme version: 4.0.2
    PHP version: 5.6.30
    Server version: 5.6.35 – MySQL Community Server
    I’ve try many solutions provided on kriesi. but failed. i’m so worried , Please help me.

    Hi,

    Please update the theme to the latest version. That should fix any issues you are currently experiencing :)

    To update to the latest version follow the simple instructions here. (Or if you want the super detailed explanation you can read this blog post)

    I think the issue might be the ftp address I gave you. Try this instead. Also, you’ll need to connect via SFTP.

    Thanks I have accessed it, I have enabled debug and found this error:

    [02-Jun-2017 18:14:24 UTC] PHP Fatal error:  Class 'ZipArchive' not found in /home/actprev/public_html/act/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/font-manager.class.php on line 114

    Can you try the solution here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3872555/fatal-error-class-ziparchive-not-found-in
    Zip extension needs to be installed. Hope this helps :)

    Hi,

    I have checked on the link you gave however the format available there is: Vector icon (SVG & EPS), PNG and PSD, unfortunately we can’t use them as fonts, however you use the png files as image.

    I just updated to 4.5 and STILL getting this…. Why is this theme getting increasingly frustrating!? (Im not a webdesigner, I dont speak web design langauge). Someone please help.
