Hello,
I tried to upload two zip files: one with Iconfonts and the other with a Google Font.
It keeps to show me the following message: “Couldn’t add the font becase the server didn’t respond. Please reload the page, then try again”.I already read other forum posts and I did all the thing suggested:
– I tried to reload the page (keep trying since Friday);
– The zips are downloaded from Fontello or Google Fonts website;
– I checked with hosting and PHP ZipArchive Extension is active and works fine;
– I tried to upload the files via FTP, but Enfold doesn’t recognise the files;
– The them is newely added, I installed it on Friday 16.04 via Plesk.Nothing seems to work. Do you have any other suggestions?
PS. I did the same problem with Enfold Theme settings, while uploading form local version. I could skip the upload because I did the changes manually, but with Fontello and Google Fonts I couldn’t find any other way.

Are the fonts showing in Media > Library?
If yes, please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

April 21, 2021 at 3:25 pm #1295818Hi Roberto,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
I tried to use the Lato zip file in the Media Library in Custom Font Manager and I’m getting 403 Forbidden error (screenshot in private content)
It seems this is a permission issue, try checking if this is prevented by either Wordfence or the server.Best regards,
Nikko -
