Hi,
Some iconbox icons are not displaying correctly and instead are displaying as an empty square box.
When I update the theme they seem to work but updating causes my site different issues so I do not wish to update at this time.
Please could you advise where these graphics are within the theme files so I can update just these files which should fix the issue?
My site is http://www.ri-web.com
Thanks,
RyanJanuary 29, 2014 at 5:58 pm #216516Hey riweb!
I have checked your website on Chrome, Firefox and IE on Win7 and it does look fine on my end. Please see screenshot here http://i.imgur.com/ONSbZ5C.jpg
Which browser and OS are you using? and can you post a screenshot of the issue?Cheers!
YigitJanuary 29, 2014 at 6:06 pm #216524Hi,
Just tested in main browsers:

Chrome: Not working

January 31, 2014 at 9:33 pm #217652Hey!
Try disabling all active plugins on Chrome and Safari and fully flushing your browser cache. If the font file is cached incorrectly then some wont show.
I had no issues in Chrome on my end and Safari is not supported on any Windows OS.

DevinFebruary 2, 2014 at 3:19 pm #218417Hi,
I disabled all plugins and have cleared my cache – still no joy?
Do you mean anything different to a normal cache flush by ‘fully flushing your browser cache’? If so, how do I do that?Ryan
February 3, 2014 at 3:27 am #218570Hi!
You’re using a very old version of the theme. Please download the latest version on your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP. Please watch this video by Devin: http://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

April 17, 2014 at 6:19 am #252451Hey!
The .htaccess file should be in the root of your installation, but is hidden, i can try adding that code to the .htaccess but i’d need temporary FTP access.

September 1, 2014 at 5:03 am #311649Hey!
I’m sorry but I visited the site, first time, the icon fonts are loading just fine. Maybe what they’re seeing are the icon font placeholder (the box icon). They should wait at least a few seconds to load the icon font.

IsmaelSeptember 1, 2014 at 4:16 pm #311901Hey,
Still no luck, Every one see placeholders not the actual icons, they refreshed pages, removed cache, waited for a long time to get page loaded. but still its same. It is still strange for me that in one tab on localhost all the icons are working fine and just on another tab (at archivistonline.com) it doesn’t work.
I had used icons on my company website and uploaded on the same host, its working fine on every ones pc but only this website has issue. did i miss anything while uploading? any file to reupload to get it fixed? any idea please?
Thanks

@netzie Re-opened it. When users confirm that is working fine, we assume that you have checked the solution and it is fully functioning. Please try the solution before confirming next time :)Cheers!
YigitSeptember 2, 2014 at 4:37 pm #312389its not fixed yet, i have downloaded the latest one and uploaded but the problem still persists. We have developed 2 other website having the same theme, both of them are working fine uploaded on same server, viewed on the same browsers. but this one still not working well and font icons doesn’t load. This is a product site and our marketing team is waiting to spread this website out. Please help. Thanks in advance.
September 3, 2014 at 10:29 am #312741I have a clue and you can think about it either this can be the root cause or not. the site was completed locally where font icons werre working fine, then i took db backup and imported on webhost database. Then uploaded the whole wordpress folder. The next step i performed was to replace my http://localhost:90/archivistonline/ to http://archivistonline.com/ using db replacement utility. Do you think this can create any issue? because other than that i think everything is ok and updated to latest versions.
Please help
ThanksSeptember 3, 2014 at 3:24 pm #312922Hey!
I have solved my issue myself. I want to share the problem with you to help others if they face the same.As I told above I had developed the site on local then uploaded. After upload i used replace db utility to replace localhost value with domain name. the utility didn’t work for all the tables and some of the old values remained. I ran the utility again and replaced values and it worked.
Regards.
