Hi,
I set up the theme and everything worked fine until I switched the URL (from http://xyz. to http://www.xyz). Now all icons are just squares…
I saw in the forum that this was an issue before, so I used the Better Search and Replace plugin to get rid of all the old URLs in the database. Unfortunately it’s stil not working, so my question is: Where does the theme pull the URLs for the icon fonts from?
I know that the URLs are the problem since it’s all back to normal when I change the URLs in the code with the inspector. Thanks,

Please refer to this post – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-cors/

YigitFebruary 3, 2016 at 4:05 pm #577147Hi Yigit,
I already tried that (to be honest, I’ve been through all post related to this issue and none of the solutions helped). The issue is with the changed URLs, so I would need to know where Enfold stores these, so I can change them.
Thanks,
ManuFebruary 4, 2016 at 8:12 am #577620Hi,
Could you provide us with a link to the site in question so that we can take a closer look please?
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 4, 2016 at 8:34 am #577633Hi Rikard,
The site is currently under development, so you will need to login to see the actual site.
Thanks,
ManuFebruary 5, 2016 at 5:49 am #578260Hi,
Not sure what going on with your site but the link you sent redirects me to yoursite.com and I see a loading box there reading Bitte noch etwas Geduld, bald gibt es hier mehr zu sehen. but it stops at 65%. The regular login pages are not working either, how do we log in?
Thanks,
RikardFebruary 5, 2016 at 8:46 am #578365Hi,
Did you call up the URL with /enter at the end? The login screen is set to this URL for security reasons. You won’t get to see the actual site if you don’t log in as I put a holding screen in place until the site is finished.
February 8, 2016 at 5:32 am #579340Hi,
I followed the link you posted previously in private, I get the same result when following the link as I do if I copy/paste it in to the browser. Not sure what why?
Best regards,
RikardFebruary 10, 2016 at 2:48 pm #581148Hi Rikard,
Ah, I think I know why that might happen! I forgot that the backend locks between 12-6 am, so that’s probably why you couldn’t access it. I have disabled this now and you should be able to log in.
Thanks,
ManuFebruary 12, 2016 at 11:17 am #582150Hi!
I tried to modify the .htaccess file but it’s not writable. Please give us the ftp access so that we can modify the file. This is the error on the console:
(index):1 Font from origin ‘http://chroma.design’ has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. Origin ‘http://www.chroma.design’ is therefore not allowed access.

IsmaelFebruary 14, 2016 at 3:26 pm #582961Hi Ismael,
As I said before, I have already tried that without success. AND it had already worked before I changed the URL of the site. The only thing I need to know is where the theme saves the URL for the icons, so I can change it.
February 21, 2016 at 11:21 am #586643Hi!
Thank you for the info. I know that you already did the .htaccess fix but we might be able to add a few modifications. We will also try to redirect the site to the “www” url version or vice versa. https://kriesi.at/support/topic/icon-rending-in-chrome/#post-548540
Cheers!
IsmaelFebruary 21, 2016 at 4:30 pm #586689Hi Ismael,
You won’t be able to edit the .htaccess file with the plugin you installed as it for some reason requires access to the wp-content folder which doesn’t exits. Everything lies in a folder called files. Can you please let me know what to add to the .htaccess file and I’ll update it myself. I do not want a redirect from the www to the non www URL version, though. There must be another way to fix this.
Thanks,
ManuFebruary 23, 2016 at 10:35 pm #588014Hey!
I checked your Htaccess Editor and cannot find the code from http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-cors/
Please put it inside and the one for web.config as well. Let us know when you are ready.Cheers!
