Hello,
I’m having a strange problem uploading my icons to enfold. Basically when I upload the icons, most of them will upload correctly (like 80%). But some end up either being displayed as Asian language characters or squares.
Here is the process I’m using
–> Download the .svg icon files from Flaticon.
–> Open Icons in illustrator & remove any groups and make the icon 1 compound path.
–> Upload to fontello. (The icon displays fine here)
–> Create custom name in Fontello for use in Enfold
–> Download the webfont
–> Upload to Enfold.Once the file is uploaded there are a few icons that end up being either Asian characters (example ) or a square (example ).
I’m trying to determine where the process is messing up. As I said a majority of the icons import perfectly fine, but only some icons don’t work. Eventually after a lot of messing around I’m usually able to get them to work, but I can’t figure out where in this process.

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,
BasilisFebruary 2, 2018 at 8:21 pm #907006It appears that this is a cashe issue. After leaving the newly installed icons on the site overnight, I came back to find they were the correct icons in the morning. I’ll do more testing and update.
