Hi,
I reached out to you guys telling you that my slider wasn’t working and I was told that I needed to update my theme. I updated my theme on two different websites and I’m getting the same error on both websites.
Here’s the example of the error(s)
Please advise.
Warning: require_once(config-wpml/config.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/lesliehoward/public_html/hangar44.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 30

Sorry for the issues you are having.
Please try the suggestions found in the post here – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/having-problems-after-updating-to-enfold-3-6-please-read-this-first/
If that does not help, could you please provide a link and login details to your site, so that we can have a closer look. You can place the information in the Private Content section of your reply.
Best regards,

June 15, 2016 at 1:55 pm #648584Hi, any updates on the above comment? Thanks for your time and your assistance in getting this corrected.
All I did was update the theme like I’ve done before.
June 15, 2016 at 4:12 pm #648688Also, just for your information, I tried to update both of the themes through the wordpress dashboard using my themeforest account and password–just like i do with every other theme that gives me the option.
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks again.
June 15, 2016 at 8:35 pm #648839I’m not getting that error. But the new look that is supposed to be there….isn’t. I just see a simply unstyled list rather than tabs on the side like the woocommerce preview. Is just just a quick fix to make it compatible and the style is coming soon? It just looks really bad right now.
June 15, 2016 at 9:26 pm #648863Hi!
Please disable and enable the theme again and most probably the issue will go away.
If not, please let us know and we can review it more for you. Thanks a lot
Best regards,
BasilisJune 16, 2016 at 2:54 pm #649250It completely broke my site. Not cool at all. I disabled the theme and saw that after the update that the main enfold theme was missing on one site and the other site both the enfold parent and child theme are both missing.
This is frustrating as I updated the theme from inside of WordPress just like you recommend. Not entirely sure why this would happen but I hope you can get it resolved.
June 19, 2016 at 5:35 pm #650439Hi,
It appears the cache is not cleared in the browser on your local machine, the site looks great! and it has no errors. I have checked it and it has updated fine.
You may not see the changes until the cached files are cleared in your browser.
Please try to hard refresh by pressing Ctrl + Shift + F5 on your browser or press the F12 key to open chrome dev tools and right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload” and review the site again.
Best regards,

June 20, 2016 at 1:45 pm #650793Hi,
I ended up fixing both themes but here’s what I had to do just for your record.
I attempted to update both themes through the WP dashboard. On both sites, I got fatal errors and couldn’t log into the backend of either website. I would through my hosting account and was able to deactivate the theme and then activate another theme.
Once I was able to activate another theme, I saw that the parent Enfold theme was missing for both websites after I attempted to udpate. Once I got the parent theme installed again, both websites seemed to work.
Not for sure why this would happen while trying to do the automatic update through the WP dashboard.
Thanks for your help.
