hello.
i have a vimeo video and want to put in into a slider.
In the standard enfold-Slider they say, i can only put a normal link of the video in the slider. But then the user get a cookie. And i dont want this of course the DSGVO law. The Borlabs Cookie Plug in dont support Cookie-Blocking of Videos in a slider.
Vimeo say, i have to put the following iFrame Code into a Slider, then it works without a Cookie.
I installed the plug in Smart Slider. Then i put this iFrame Code into the slider:
<iframe src=”https://player.vimeo.com/video/509678610?background=1&dnt=1″ width=”100%” height=”900″ frameborder=”0″ allow=”autoplay; fullscreen” allowfullscreen></iframe>
here is a link:
But it also doesnt work! When i look in the browser chrome tools there i saw a changed iFrame Code:
<iframe src=”https://player.vimeo.com/video/509678610?background=1amp;&dnt=1″ width=”100%” height=”900″ frameborder=”0″ allow=”autoplay; fullscreen” allowfullscreen></iframe>
the smart slider support says: something on the enfold theme or another plug in is changing the iFrame code, so it doesnt work like i want it.
what the hell…..
i only want to put a video into a slider without using a cookie.
help needed…..
Hey streetbunny80,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Embedding video as an iframe will still require cookies or still add cookies to the local storage. You will have to find a plugin that actually prevents the video from playing without user consent, or use the available options in the Enfold > Privacy & Cookies > Cookie Handling panel. You should be able to add the [av_privacy_video_embeds] privacy toggle to the modal popup window or to the site’s privacy page and allow the users the option to disable or enable video embeds from Youtube or Vimeo.
Best regards,
Ismael
