Help. I think I broke everything.

I was trying to verify my site according to Google+. I added their code into the theme editor of the Enfold Child Theme (Appearance > Editor) and now I get an error message (below) and now I cannot even access the admin dashboard to my site to remove it.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home4/localgal/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/functions.php on line 8

I figured if it didn’t like it, I’d just get an error message, not have it lock me out completely.
Can you please help. Sorry for my stupidity. :(

    Hi Kristian!

Please go to wp-content/themes/enfold and undo the changes you have made on Functions.php file ( or simply replace it with a freshly downloaded one ). Then your website should work. After that please post the code you would like to add using pastebin.com

    Hi!

Please try re-updating the theme via FTP – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Overwriting all files should solve this issue

    Cheers!

Thank you Yigit. It took me several hours to figure out how to do all that, but I’ve got it now.
That was a good thing to learn. Thank you!
