I’d like to have a Content Element that works the same as the AJAX Portfolio Grid with sort options, but instead of being used by Portfolio Items, it be with Media Library, with the work done previously to place each image in its Categorie Media.
¿Is there a way to do that kind of Portfolio with Enfold capabilities?

Have you tried the Advance layout Builder > Content Elements > Portfolio Grid
It gives you the ability to opens images in Lightbox or Ajax and also the sort options.Example
It will be a lot of custom work to add sort option to media elements instead use a 3rd part plugin like the NextGen Gallery http://wordpress.org/plugins/nextgen-gallery/ and install http://wordpress.org/plugins/nextgen-gallery-powertags/

Yes Vinnie, that’s already what I’m using in http://rvarq.com/perspectives/
But unfortunately it only works for Portfolio items and not for Media Elements.
And it would be an impossible work to generate a Portfolio item, for each image needed.
I guess this then becomes a formal request to include Sort Options to Gallery Element.

Currently you can do that with a 3rd party plugin but if there are features that you wish Enfold had, you can request them and vote the requested ones here – https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
