July 22, 2014 at 3:40 am #294126Hi nicolasweh!
Thank you for the screenshot.
You’re using an old version of the theme, 2.4.2, which is not compatible with WP 3.9.1. Please download the latest version from your themeforest account then update the theme via FTP. Please refer to this link for more info: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Note that upgrading to 2.9.1 from 2.4.2 might break some of the elements on the theme so you might need to reconfigure the options or create them from scratch.
Cheers!
IsmaelJuly 22, 2014 at 7:17 am #294207Ops is for that reason, I was afraid of it.
Well, the web page is finished and yes, I’ve some changes that I could loose, so I think I´ll stay in 2.4.2
Could you tell me, if there’s another reason in addition to taking advantage of the improvements you’ve been made in the theme to update?
Is it harmful in some other aspect to keeping in the 2.4.2 ?
Thanks Ismael.July 22, 2014 at 2:46 pm #294357Hey!
Please see changelog here – http://themeforest.net/item/enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme/4519990#item-description__changelog
At some point, you are going to need to update the theme to make it compatible with WordPress and Plugins.
You can set up a testing environment ( http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/move-from-a-local-installation-to-a-live-server/ ) and update the theme in there, fix if there is anything that needs to be fixed and then move it your live serverRegards,
