    The content is still showing in the footer section on the page. However on the admin side, the footer widget areas appear empty.

    Is this a known problem? What can I do?

    Hey marihonaa,

    If you don’t have any content in the widgets, the default demo content will show instead. If you want empty widgets then try adding an empty text widget for instance.
