    I’ve been trying to install the theme for 2 days, I’ve tried all the options, but I can’t do it with any of them. Can you help me?

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Have you tried to manually upload the theme files to your server via S/FTP? Please check the documentation below for more info about manual installation.

    I managed to install it, but I can’t find the button:”Import dummy data” :(

    If you want to import a demo, then you can do so under Enfold->Demo Import.

    The hosting company tired to update the enfold theme yesterday and go a critical error as follows:

    Error Details
    =============
    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 8 of the file /home/hockeywin/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown.php. Error message: Cannot redeclare av_countdown_events_fallback() (previously declared in /home/hockeywin/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown/events_countdown.php:16)

    The website is running the following:
    WordPress version 6.0.3
    Active theme: Enfold (version 5.3.1.1)
    Current plugin: (version )
    PHP version 7.2.34

    I really need the theme to work as soon as possible as the current version, on the site, will not allow me to edit or add posts or events.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Aldopo1973,

    Please try to do the following things:
    1. Switch to a default WordPress Theme such as Twenty Twenty.
    2. Delete the Enfold theme.
    3. Re-install the theme again and activate it.

    Thank you, I will have the host company give that a try. Does the PHP version need to be updated to version 8?

    You’re welcome :)
    The PHP version is not required to update, however, we suggest you update it to PHP 8 since 7.3 has already reached it’s End-of-life, you can read this article for further information: https://www.ionos.com/digitalguide/websites/web-development/php-73/
