    Hi – I can’t find where to upload google HTML verification file so that I can verify ownership to reset google search console, I have tried for three hours now

    Hi stuartcale,

    You will have to do that through FTP to the root folder of your WordPress installation.

    Hi,

    It has nothing to do with theme, you need to use FTP software like FileZilla: https://filezilla-project.org/. Log in using your FTP details which can be provided to you by your host. Then navigate to the root folder of your WordPress installation and upload the file there. Your hosting provider should be able to help you out with this if you should not be able to do this yourself.
