I can’t edit the special header. When I try I get a blank field. And I can’t type anything anywhere. In addition, I have the latest version of enfold.

Thanks for that. What happens if you temporarily deactivate all plugins? You could also try to use the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.

I copied the content of the page in question to a test page, and I see that your content is full of what seems like unnecessary markup, for example:
<span class="wysiwyg-color"><span class="wysiwyg-font-size-16">
Please try cleaning up all unnecessary tags like that, as something is likely breaking the layout builder. You would also try to recreate the page, and make sure to only copy the text that you want to add, and not the markup which has been added in your current page. The server is also returning a 500 internal server error on the file in private, which might indicate that something is going wrong on the server side.

Thanks for the update. I’m not sure what is going on with your installation, but it seems to be server related as the server is returning a 500 internal server error while trying to edit the Special Heading element even on an empty page. Please share server error logs with us.

RikardMay 14, 2025 at 6:41 pm #1484257Sorry for submitting a new request. But I have to wait a whole day before I get a reply and you only respond late in the evening. As I tried to explain before, I don’t know what you’re talking about exactly. I buy a product and update it. Then I have all kinds of problems that I don’t have with 4 other website pages. Now you say it’s a server issue. I don’t know which server you mean and what else you need access to. I have a web hosting package where they offer wordpress. They don’t provide any further technical support. So can you explain to me exactly what you need because this is taking way too long and as I said before after uodate this problem. And please if you expect me to do something, please show me in screenshot.
May 14, 2025 at 7:28 pm #1484259Maybe you can look here.
May 15, 2025 at 9:58 am #1484292Hi,
Thanks for that, but I can’t see any error logs in your FTP account. Please refer to your hosting documentation to find out where it’s located. If they don’t provide any technical support, then you should probably consider changing hosting to another provider. It’s impossible for us to know why the server is responding with a 500 internal error unless we can see the error logs. You could also try to enable debugging in your WordPress installation: https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/

RikardMay 21, 2025 at 10:32 am #1484522Is it possible to restore my website to the old version of Enfold and see if it works then? I am not getting full cooperation from the hosting party and I want to switch to another party anyway.
Could you help me with this? Perhaps it will work then.May 21, 2025 at 4:14 pm #1484530Hi,
Sure, we could try that out. Which version would you like for us to test?

May 22, 2025 at 9:13 am #1484570Hi Rikard,
This is taking way too long. Can you connect me with someone else who has more time to solve my problem?
May 22, 2025 at 9:51 am #1484573Hi,
Thanks for the update. I can’t really recommend anything, as this is not a general theme problem. I tried connecting to your server via FTP, but the login details are not working anymore. Please check and verify.
This is the only support that we provide, all moderators work in the same way.

May 22, 2025 at 1:11 pm #1484583Hi,
Thanks for the update. I tried installing an old version of the theme, and that seems to have helped. Please review your site. If you should need further help with the problem using the latest version, then we would need to see server error logs.

RikardMay 24, 2025 at 9:50 am #1484607Just now I was able to edit the page. When I clicked update and displayed the page, I saw that I still had to adjust the font size. Again, when I wanted to edit the special header, a blank screen!
May 25, 2025 at 11:30 am #1484639Hi,
Thanks for the update. I see that the version of the theme that I installed for you is not there anymore, did you delete it? You can keep both the old and new versions, in order to test which is working.
Best regards,
RikardMay 25, 2025 at 11:41 am #1484640I don’t have the technical knowledge to know what you have installed or not. To answer your question, no I didn’t delete anything. I saw that I could add text to the page. I did this and then looked at the page example to see what it looked like. When I went back to adjust the font I saw a blank screen again and couldn’t do anything.
Can’t you make a backup of the website and take enfold out completely and put it back in again? Maybe that would work??May 25, 2025 at 1:49 pm #1484648Hi,
I’ve uploaded an old version for you again, edited the heading and it’s working. Please review your site. If the version I uploaded should disappear again, then you would have to reach out to your hosting provider and ask why that is. You can check which themes are installed under Appearance->Themes.
Best regards,
Rikard -
