    I am using the built in styling option. I have selected the boxed layout and chosen a colour. I have saved the options. There is no image selected as the background…. can you help me please as the background is insisting on just being white and not changing to my selected colour?

    Hi!

    Please try updating the theme to the latest version ( http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/ ). As a temporary solution, you can add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab

    html.html_boxed {
background: #33174d;
}

    I know what you mean, and to be honest this is the first time i see this type of bug, weird thing is this only happens with the body background (other like footer work as expected). I’ll tag the rest of the team to see if someone has an idea.

    Hi!

    This is a bit involved but I think the stylesheet needs to be re-generated from a base style. So first open up your admin in one window and then open it again in another window. Navigate the the themes styling tab in both and then minimize one to keep as a fake backup of sorts.

    With the open window select one of the themes pre-built color schemes and then save. See if you can set the background color without issue then. Either way you’ll then use the second window showing your styling tab as a template to quickly copy over all the color and font choices you previously had to the ‘working’ window where you are saving the data.

    The stylesheet just needs to be regenerated as I outline above. The background color is now getting set but the variables aren’t getting cleared out. The only way I know of to do that would be to select one of the pre-defined color schemes and then save. Once that is done you can re-add in your color options in each tab.

    Keeping a second window with those options visible but not saved will let you have a visual guide so you don’t have to write anything down.
