Hi, I am a great fan of Enfold theme.
Today I upgraded to WP 3.9 and suddenly cannot see any contents in the “Visual” tab in the Text Block. I can see the contents when I select “Text” tab, but it is complicated with all the HTML codes.
What should I do?
Thanks!
May 2, 2014 at 7:43 pm #259529Hi, this is Bradley.
After upgrading to WP 3.9, I cannot see the contents in the Visual tab in the Text Block, so I have to select Text tab to see & edit the contents with complex HTML codes. I updated the Enfold theme to the newest, deleted unnecessary plugins, but still don’t see the contents. I uploaded 2 screenshots with no contents (hidden) when I selected “Visual” tab, and with contents with “Text” tab selected. Please help.

@Pixelbits: Thank you for sharing the possible fix. :)
@bymoon: The Enfold 2.7.1 patch should fix the issue with the text blocks. Meanwhile, you might want to try the fix posted by @Pixelbits on the tread mentioned above. https://kriesi.at/support/topic/visual-editor-not-working-after-update-to-wp-3-9/#post-259074 :)Regards,
IsmaelMay 4, 2014 at 7:58 am #259896Hi! Reinstalling Enfold Theme using FTP solved the problem.
Thank you very much, both of you, Pixelbits and Ismael!
Thankful,
BradleyMay 4, 2014 at 8:03 am #259898Hi again!
I just found that I can see the contents in the text block box, but the contents does not change as I edit the next text block; the previous page is still there. I refreshed the cache, but the same.
What can I do now? :-(

Are you using 2.7.1?
Best regards,
DevinMay 6, 2014 at 3:21 pm #260756Hi, Devin! Thank you for your feedback.
I reinstalled the latest version in ThemeForest.net site and found that 2.7 version is installed. I went back to the ThemeForest site (download page), but it looks the same .zip file to me. Isn’t that 2.7.1 version?
Thanks again,
BradleyMay 7, 2014 at 5:10 am #261099Hey!
Thank you for the update.
You can check if you’re using 2.7.1 on Appearance > Editor panel. Check the version on style.css file. Do you mind if we check it? Please post the login details here and set it as a private reply.

IsmaelMay 7, 2014 at 5:45 am #261137Hi, Ismael!
I checked it and found that I am still using 2.7. As I said, I checked in the ThemeForest site and downloaded “themeforest-4519990-enfold-responsive-multipurpose-theme” file, which is the version I am using. Where can I get the 2.7.1 version?
Thank you very much for the quick reply and support!
BradleyPS. The current version I am using, after fixing hidden contents in the “Visual” tab, is having a new issue with “Text” tab, where all the paragraphs are merged into one big paragraph.

Enfold theme in Downloads section on your account is the updated file. You should download it once again and update the theme via FTP – http://vimeo.com/67209750
