Can you tell us more when are you getting this issue? While updating WordPress?
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

Erwin San MiguelDecember 1, 2019 at 2:09 pm #1161623Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, I have found your 3 messages on this issue, I have been able to login to your WordPress site but I couldn’t FTP in to help. I tried “FTP & SFTP”, although you are not clear on your FTP password, I had to try the two passwords at the bottom of your private message. It looks like your webhost is in the Philippines and I don’t have a VPN for the Philippines, is your webhost blocking the USA from FTP access to your ftp access? This is common for FTP access. I have included my IP address in the private content area, if you can ask your webhost to “white list” me I will try to help. Otherwise, we have team members in the Philippines that can help, but it may take a day, depending on the time zone.
I will mark your other posts to this one, let’s work from this one so we are all on the same page / topic / post.
Thank you for your patience and using Enfold.Best regards,

December 1, 2019 at 8:43 pm #1161663Hi,
Thank you for the feedback, I found that you are using PHP version 5.4.45
which is too old for WordPress, please ask your host to update to at least PHP version 7
You are also using WordPress 4.9.8, so I believe the combination of the old WordPress & PHP was causing an issue with the updated Enfold.
So please update your PHP & WordPress then let me know and I will try again.
After I get the theme installed, which demo do you want installed? You can see them all here. I recommend the 2017 demo.Best regards,

December 2, 2019 at 12:40 pm #1161831Hi,
Thanks, I see your PHP is updated now and Enfold is installed, now please try updating WordPress as you have v4.9.8, you should be using v5.3, please look at the top of the backend page to update
But you may need to have your web host turn on your PHP ZipArchive Extension as it’s disabled and WordPress uses it to extract “zip” files.
Then you should be able to import one of the demos at Enfold Theme Options > Demo Import > Import demo files
Please let us know if you have any issues.Best regards,
MikeJanuary 3, 2020 at 12:55 pm #1169281Hi Good day!,
i would like to ask a support from your side, i already installed my enfold theme on hosting services and i am working already on my web pages, every time i tried to edit my page, the page layout screwed up, i don’t even press the save and publish button. what do you think is the problem of this them?
kindly check the url of the theme : pccilp.org. at first you will see it nice and perfect, but if you try to update the content it will mess you up.January 3, 2020 at 2:22 pm #1169310Hi,
Thanks for the login, I took a look at your homepage and opened it in the Advanced Layout Builder and it looks correctly, I didn’t save as you said it looked “screwed up” without saving.
Please include a screenshot of what you are seeing “screwed up” so we can better understand. Or perhaps include a screencast so we can see the steps you are taking.
you can add screenshots by uploading your images to a service such as postimages.org and pasting the html code, or link given in your post or Private Content area. you can upload a video to DropBox and post the link in the Private Content area.Best regards,
MikeJanuary 14, 2020 at 12:23 pm #1173250Hi Mike, good day,
Sorry for the late reply regarding the complaint that I email kast January 3, 2020, honestly until now we are still facing issues in updating our client website, and because of this problem we already delayed on our project. the main issue was if you go to our client website pcclp.org/, particularly under about us/board of trustees and PCCILp committees if you tried to add images inside the green circle box for 3 or 5 images. For example, the interface of the page is totally mess up, the elements of the theme content will no longer align, then if you tried to refresh the page, the elements of the site is no lover arrange and the placeholders are not balanced anymore, the same situation happened to the home page and for the rest. that’s the reason why we need to update the website again from the start. If you want to experience this issue you can log in to my account. try to upload images, try to add columns try to put something inside the frames that we created, in order to experience the issue. Please refer to the pages I mentioned above this letter, I will try to send a screenshot in order for you to find out what’s going on.Thank you Mike we’re hoping for your immediate action on these requests.

Thank you for the update.
The post or page with the ID 2002 as shown in the screenshot has been deleted — it’s in the trash. Did you create another page to replace the broken one? Broken layout in the builder is usually cause by unclosed html tags or invalid custom scripts. Did you add any html code in the page?

IsmaelJanuary 15, 2020 at 11:04 am #1173895Hi Ismael,
Good day, we do not add any html codes or even revised it, we retain the design and we just copied the element in order to add another placeholder, then we just uploaded our images and text after that everything change, placeholders, and other function is not working. When you try to visit another page, the same problem we encounter. so we have no choice but to revamp the site and make another one from the start.January 16, 2020 at 3:46 am #1174735Hi,
Thank you for the clarification.
we just copied the element i
Where did you copy the elements from? Is it from an existing website or page? It’s possible that there are invalid html tags in the source, which breaks the placeholders or the builder layout. It won’t break the builder initially — only after the page is updated, so you have to be very careful with html tags and make sure that they are closed properly.
so we have no choice but to revamp the site and make another one from the start.
Are you still experiencing the issue on any page/s?
Best regards,
Ismael -
