Hi,
We tried to edit and save some slides in LayerSlider WP. The website theme and plugins are up-to-date. We’ve have not added any new plugins to the mix (and in fact don’t have that many) and the php version is 7.0. The uploaded images are not overly large, so I don’t think it is a filesize issue. Yet we are getting the following error when trying to save changes to the slides:
“It seems there is a server issue that prevented LayerSlider from saving your work. Please check LayerSlider -> System Status for potential errors, try to temporarily disable themes/plugins to rule out incompatibility issues or contact your hosting provider to resolve server configuration problems. Your HTTP server thrown the following error: Not Found”
I turned on debug log and found the following error there: PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 2 in …/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/function-set-avia-backend.php on line 433
I tried disabling the plugins, changing the theme to an older copy and yet I’m still getting the error message. Any idea as to what is causing this? Any suggestions?

There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:
Also try to contact your host about it. Maybe they could make sure that uploading/saving time is long enough on your server.
Best regards,
AndyMay 2, 2017 at 9:17 pm #786713Thank you for your reply, Andy. We’ve determined that one of the sliders is corrupted. Not sure why. We are able to edit other sliders and create new ones, but can’t do anything to the one that is throwing the error. There are 25 slides in the one slider. Do you know if there is a way to display the layerslider code on the screen so we can troubleshoot it further, or at least so we can copy/paste the slide details into a new slider? I know it’s possible to display the Avia Layout Builder code and am hoping it is possible with layerslider, too. We’ll whittle the slides into smaller, more manageable sliders (less slides), but it would be helpful to not have to recreate it all over again. I’ve tried exporting/importing the slider but it gets the same error.
May 2, 2017 at 9:54 pm #786746Scratch that last message… we created a new slider and added one slide with 12 layers containing images and links. Now we can’t add anything further without getting the same error message as before. We’ve already had hosting increase the allotted uploads capability. The debug log is still displaying the error “PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 2 in /home/studiodel/public_html/ds/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/function-set-avia-backend.php on line 433”.
Any other suggestions?May 3, 2017 at 1:57 pm #787135I also checked the LayerSlider system status and it shows version 6.2.2 with a message to “update to latest version (6.4.0), as we are constantly working on new features, improvements and bug fixes.” Enfold has been updated to the latest version, and as it is built in shouldn’t LayerSlider be as well?
May 3, 2017 at 6:12 pm #787276Hi,
LayerSlider will be be updates automatically when Enfold gets an update.
How about your php memory limit? did you check that with your server? We recommend to work with at least 256MB.Best regards,
AndyMay 4, 2017 at 4:12 pm #787910The php memory limit is set to 1024mb.
May 6, 2017 at 8:29 pm #788902Hi,
It can be a php security issue, because it is on save.
Can you show us your php info please?Best regards,
