Hi can someone please help? My site has been down for 3 days after updating to the latest enfold theme and I’ve posted on here and gotten no response and used envato’s paid “help package” to no avail. Every time I run the newest enfold theme I get a 500 error, I know enfold is the issue because when I change the file name in cpanel I no longer get the error but my site looks terrible because it’s meant to be run on the enfold theme not the default 2019 theme. Could someone please check out the enfold file in my cpanel? I paid for it and downloaded it straight from envato and then extracted it in cpanel. Please help, I’ve paid a lot of money and I’m at a loss.

Thanks for giving us admin access, I noticed that you’re still using PHP 5.4.45, you’ll need to use atleast 5.6 but we recommend php 7 and up since version 5 are already outdated.
Upgrading it to later versions should fix the issue.Best regards,

My website is doing the exact same thing. I am on PHP 7.3.
On the computer I get the http 500 error on ipads/iphones it’s a blank screen. If I refresh a few times it will load.
Do you know why?- This reply was modified 5 years, 7 months ago by HannahWright.
May 4, 2019 at 7:28 pm #1097289Hi Nikko,
On my dashboard I see that it says php update required, however, when I follow the link “learn more about updating php” it takes me to a CloudLinux page entitled “Good news Cloud Linux already took care about php version of your website” it’s saying my site is using hardened php which supports older versions of php. Do I still have to update php even with this and if so what’s the best way to go about that?
Thank you for the response!
Henry
