Hey guys,
I’m having some problems on the following page:
http://learnclubdance.com/accessories/test-own-the-dance-floor/Everything was fine until yesterday morning, when I added a grid row with three images. When I hit publish, the live website did not display anything other than the header and the footer.
So I went back, and clicked on a revision. The old revision is currently live, but it is displaying several errors. Can you please help?
Currently, the page at http://learnclubdance.com/accessories/test-own-the-dance-floor/ as the following errors:
The footer is not displaying properly
The headlines are not displaying the right color
Some color elements are showing a top border even though they should not be showing a top border. How do I proceed from here?
September 21, 2015 at 4:57 pm #506521Hey kgbrooklyn!
Try creating a new page and add your content in piece by piece and keep checking the frontend to see which piece is causing the issue.
If your using HTML in a codeblock or textblock element then make sure your closing them properly.

September 22, 2015 at 2:39 pm #507069Hey, I was really hoping I would not have to start completely over… Is there any other way to see what the errors are?
September 22, 2015 at 5:39 pm #507255Hey!
None that I know of. You have quite a lot of content on that page so it’s difficult to sift through. Creating a new page and adding your content in piece by piece should be able to pinpoint the problem.
I would start with any textblock / codeblock elements first off, it’s most likely you forgot to close a tag or there is some other typo.

ElliottSeptember 22, 2015 at 10:50 pm #507407I tried restoring the page to a revision I had on Sept 11 (before I had any errors) but when I do that, the screen goes blank.

Could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

September 26, 2015 at 9:08 am #509419Hey!
How can we login to the site? I tried wp-admin or login but it’s not working. Please post the actual login url. The page looks OK though: http://learnclubdance.com/accessories/test-own-the-dance-floor/
Can you please provide a screenshot of the issue? Use imgur or dropbox.
Cheers!
IsmaelSeptember 26, 2015 at 9:21 am #509421Hey, the login details are enclosed below:
The display issues are that there is a grey border in special content areas and the special headlines are not displaying the correct color
September 28, 2015 at 9:07 am #509871Hey!
Thank you for the update.
1.) Use this in the Quick CSS field to remove the color section border:
.container_wrap { border: 0; }
2.) Add this in the Quick CSS field to fix the special heading color:
.main_color h1, .main_color h2, .main_color h3, .main_color h4, .main_color h5, .main_color h6 { color: inherit; }

October 1, 2015 at 1:53 pm #512172So just to clarify,
I have the following errors on this page. I cannot find an html error and when I try to load an old revision, the whole screen goes blank.
The display errors are:
The footer
Headlines
Borders between color sectionsOctober 2, 2015 at 4:57 am #512515Hey!
We can’t access the dashboard again. Please check: http://learnclubdance.com/accessories/wp-admin

IsmaelOctober 21, 2015 at 5:55 pm #522406Hey, so the dashy was moved to the root domain, sorry!
October 21, 2015 at 6:25 pm #522429Hi!
quite difficult to understand what’s the problem is about in this whole thread. I checked the links from your first post and they did not work for me, even not if I remove the “/accessories/” part of the links. Moreover I checked your footer but could not see any issues. Your dropbox screenshot does not serve us at all, as it looks totally fine to us. I checked different page on your website and your footer looks always the same to me.
Can you show us clearly what you need please? send us a mockup showing what you want to achieve and explain exactly what kind of issue you have.
Best regards,
AndyOctober 21, 2015 at 6:33 pm #522433Okay, let’s start over.
So there is clearly html errors on this page. I know that because 1)headlines are not displaying the right color 2)there are border lines were there should not be and 3)the footer is being displayed like a box instead of full width.
When I tried to upload an older revision (one that did not have any display errors), the screen went blank and I could not load the older versions.
So here is what is wrong with the footer. On every page on learnclubdance.com, the footer is displaying one way. On http://learnclubdance.com/own-the-dance-floor/, the footer is being displayed in a different way. Are you able to see that difference on your end?

October 21, 2015 at 6:36 pm #522434Also, I just noticed that another element that is not displaying properly in the footer are the footer widget titles.
October 21, 2015 at 7:24 pm #522448Hey!
thanks for the explanation. Please deactivate all your plugins, to see which one is causing this issue and let us know if you get some better results. If that does not help you might need to delete all theme files via FTP and get a fresh copy from your themeforest account.
Cheers!
