HTML tags in manual blog excerpts

hi guys,
I am aware that WP strips the HTML tags from the manual excerpts….the Advanced Excerpt Plugin doesn’t work either unfortunately…
Do you have, by any chance a, codes snippet for the functions.php to solve this issue?
