Hi all,
using the latest version of Enfold, sorry not sure what version of WP, it’s asking me to if i want to update to 4.8.I want to create html links that takes the user to a specific paragraph on another page. these links don’t seem to work within the Icon Boxes? I placed the links within the ‘Set Manually’ option, but when I save the page, then click on the link, i get an error msg saying the page doesn’t exist.
If i use the same html links within general text boxes, they work fine. Here is the site http://7ate9.co.uk/home/#printdesign
There is a link on the first icon ‘Print Design’ under the large header image. You will see the link doesn’t work.
i placed same link is in the txt area below ‘A Reliable Print Solutions Company’ and that one works fine. Why can’t these links work in the icon box?
Login details are below if u need them.

John TorvikJune 23, 2017 at 7:03 am #811973Hi John, sorry about that, it’s a demo site that not accessed for many months at a time, it’s on my list to do.
Quick get around is to click on ‘enable cookies’ and go to the wordpress page, and then click on the browser back button to the log in page again, enter details and it should work.
Thanks again :)June 25, 2017 at 2:43 pm #812686Hi happybloodycamper,
Set manually – means you enter the links in the field below with just the link:
I saved changes, they are still there for you to see.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
VictoriaJune 26, 2017 at 11:26 am #812980Hi Victoria, thanks for clearing that up, I understand what set manually means. what i am asking is I want to use the Icon Box and have the destination to be on a specific paragraph to the destination page. Here is the destination page <a href=”http://7ate9.co.uk/services/
and here is the tag to the specific paragraph #printdesign
So the entire html reference should beit works fine when i set it to go to the page, but when i out the last part #printdesign i either get an error msg or it breaks the page entirely which again happened this morning.
If however I do all of this in a Text Block, it works fine. Is there something preventing using this in the Icon box and is there a way around it?Thanks

What is the error message? I tried to check but somebody is working on the page now.

VictoriaJune 27, 2017 at 9:20 pm #813596Hi Victoria,
Sorry, i have been working on the site today, the error msg I get is
Nothing Found Sorry, the post you are looking for is not available. Maybe you want to perform a search?
To make it easier, I have set up two pages on the menu, these are:
Test 1 and Test 2Test 1 has an Icon Box and Text Box both with the same html link to ‘Digital Printing’ on Test 2
The Text Box link works fine, but the Icon Box brings up the error msg.Failed Link URL
Something in the way the Icon Box is reading the html is causing the problem, if you look at the address bar for the failed link from the Icon Box you will see this url http://7ate9.co.uk/test-1/%3Ca%20href=%22http:/7ate9.co.uk/test-2/#digitalprinting%22%3EDigital%20Printing%3C/a%3ESuccessful link URL
This is the successful link from the text box http://7ate9.co.uk/test-2/#digitalprintingI’m afraid i have no other ideas, I wish i could find a manual work around to use the Text Box to make things easier for all.
Thanks again
June 28, 2017 at 1:13 pm #813792Hi Victoria,
I got the link to work, it was very simple, the html was wrong, I needed to remove the <a href= from the start of the link and only start it with http://Thanks again for taking the time to help :)
Finally, i don’t see a way to mark this topic as resolved, is it something an administrator must do?
