    Hey guys,

I guess this is an odd request but I thought I’ll give it a try:

I would like to do tiny adjustments to the theme for which would need to be managed via Custom CSS. When I put a specific request here I always get awesome feedback in form of a short CSS-snippet which does the job. However I’d love to be able to do it myself. I can’t get into CSS3 in depth but I’d be willing to learn. But as I only need it for THIS theme my question is:

Is there any practical approach on how to learn “How to customize Enfold via CSS”. Of course I need to get used to the syntax. Thats doable, but e.g. whats the best way to find the name of the relevant class/element etc.

I’m looking for a step by step approach like:

    1. Open the site with Firefox and have Firebug installed
    2. Browse to the element
    3. Look in this and that window for …
    4. Copy blabla to
    5. Paste into Custom CSS and change to your needs…

Thanks for ANY idea that might help me :-)

    Cheers,

    quicky

    Hi quicky2000!

you almost said how it could be done:

    1. Open the site with Firefox and have Firebug installed
    2. Browse to the element
    3. Look into Styles
    4. Copy CSS Class
    5. Paste CSS Class into Quick CSS with custom values

    Regards,
    Andy

    Hi Andy,

so would you still prefer FireBug to do the job? And as I saw you’re from Germany, too. Is there any German CSS reference (e.g. book, website) that teaches the basics of the syntax?

    Thanks,

    quicky :-)

Hopefully it works for you. I asked Andy to check the topic once again, if he has any recommendations, he would post here :)

    Best regards,
