I have installed Thrive Leads plugin to wordpress which is a tool to generate pop up forms on my site. There is an option in Thrive to use a button as a way to open up one of these forms. this is done by wrapping the button coding in a shortcode.
The problem is that when I move from the visual builder to classic the page content sometimes disappears. If I keep switching back and forth eventually I get the option to look at the text/code of the page where I can use the shortcode to wrap around the button. Once this is saved the pop up does work when the button is clicked but if the page is edited in any other way (not necessarily to the button) and saved again then the button no longer works with the pop up.
I have spoken to Thrive who have advised that I contact you.
Is there anything that can be done with this problem? ThanksMarch 22, 2015 at 4:39 pm #415991Hi hypnorich!
Thank you for using Enfold.
I’m sorry but we’re not familiar with this specific plugin and as stated on our support policy, any third party plugin issues should be redirected to the plugin author. Anyway, how can we add these buttons? Please create a test page where we can see an example of the shortcode. And you should avoid switching between the default editor and the advance layout builder because some shortcodes, mostly full width elements, are not compatible with the default editor.

IsmaelMarch 23, 2015 at 12:51 am #416157The test page is here https://sheffield-hypnosis.co.uk/thrive-test/
The top button is a standard button. Under this is the shortcode that I want to wrap around the content. Under this is a button where I have wrapped the code around it. This seems to have been successful and is sticking (ie. not disappearing when I save.)
The only difference I can see is that this page has been created exclusively in the default editor rather than using the visual builder. The problem I have is that I want to add this shortcode into pages I have already created and that is where the problems have started. There seems to be no way to swap between different editor styles and to be able to input the shortcode.
Any help or advice you can offer with this is very appreciated!

You can try the code block element: https://sheffield-hypnosis.co.uk/test-page/
