I would like to use the fonts which I uploaded into enfold for the layer slider as well. The google fonts are not convenient with the GDPR.
Is there already a workaround for that?

    Thanks in advance

    Hey FokeOne,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

There is no option for this by default, but you can choose the font for the heading or body text in the General Styling > Fonts panel. Once the custom font is made available in the front end, you can manually apply it to a specific layer by using the Styles > TEXT | FONT & Style > Family field.

You can also use the layer’s CUSTOM CSS field to apply the font.

    Example:

    font-family: Customfont;

I need to achieve the same but following the above does not work for me:

using the Styles > TEXT | FONT & Style > Family field: Under EXTERNAL FONTS is a single entry “roboto” ( I had uploaded Roboto via Theme Options Import/Export before and had set it as heading and body font in General Styling and it works fine for all other page elements) but when I select it as font style for a layer slider the FONT FAMILY box gets just cleared and the font is not set.

use the layer’s CUSTOM CSS field: Entering “font-family: Roboto;” there applies the font style BUT it results in referencing the font on the Google server instead of using the already uploaded, local, and otherwise working Roboto font.

(In the LayerSlider Settings I tried to enable/disable “Enable Google Fonts” which doesn’t seem to cause any different behavior regarding the above. I get more than the single “roboto” entry in the EXTERNAL FONTS list but can’t apply any of them either.)

    Hi,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

there applies the font style BUT it results in referencing the font on the Google server instead of using the already uploaded, local, and otherwise working Roboto font.

What do you mean? When you uploaded the Roboto font, did you make sure to select it as both the heading and body font? It’s possible that the default Roboto font is still selected, or there might be an element in the Enfold > Advanced Styling panel that is still using the default font. Please note that the uploaded font will not override the default font and the entry appears at the very bottom of the dropdown, so it is quite easy to miss.

“did you make sure to select it as both the heading and body font”
Yes, I did, as I wrote in my initial posting.

I think I set all elements in (Enfold > General Styling and) Enfold > Advanced Styling to the uploaded font.
But as every element needs to be picked individually for editing it is not straight forward to stay on top of things. Therefore could you please let me know where to find the respective css files which are modified by these two UI configurations? It would be easier to search for the font names in an editor.
