Hi,
I need to test a theme update on another server with another domain, with a subdomain. The theme don’t allows me to run it.
Is it possible to do such test in a ? What are the alternatives for testing upgrades in a production server?

Hey NexeAndorra!

Are you talking about the automatic updates? Try updating via FTP, http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/portfolio-item/update-theme-files-with-ftp/, to see if that works.

Hi Elliott,

no I’ve already done this. I’m talking about my developement server which URL is not the same as the original.
ex:
Site: http://www.ramentolpujol.ad
Dev. site: rp.ne-xe.com

The theme serial seems to block my subdomain test envirenoment. I need to know how to test the theme’s update before putting it into production site.

Hi, I have already migrated to a new server, I’m not sure that I need to migrate it one more time with this solution.
Would it be possible to Kriesi’s team to update theme and fix all my problems?

Hi,

I try to update the theme’s website in a test server, but I’m not able to make it work correctly in the new server: http://rp.ne-xe.com
I’ve already tried to update the theme but then the config of all the widgets presents in every page was lost. Then I replaced the upgrade with an old copy.

I have used Duplicator to migrate the website to the test server.

Here’s my client’s website:
