Hi, is there any simple guide to install woocommerce and get the shop as the demo site?
Please let me know.
Jorge.
Hey Jorge!
You could try importing dummy data to your store.

The dummy site shows a place for users to log in the right side bar. Does anyone know how I can get this to appear? I created my shop page from the dummy site, but the side bar is showing recent blog posts and other things that I don’t wish to have in that sidebar.
Hi!
The sidebar for the shop page can be customized in the Appearance>Widgets section of WordPress. The login section on the demo site is actually the login shortcodes for bbPress and is not strictly for WooCommerce.
WooCommerce actually got rid of their login widget from the plugin a few versions ago so you would need to use a third party plugin or something like that to add in a login field to the sidebar via a widget.
Cheers!
Devin
Devin,
Thank you so much!! This was super helpful.
One follow up question –
I put the bbpress login fields in my sidebar and there is a captcha-style math problem that users must do. Is there a way to remove this? Since it’s a login field, I don’t find the captcha necessary.
Thank you so much for your help!
Also, how do I delete items from the sidebar that I don’t want to appear there. I don’t want to change all pages at once. I just want to remove some sidebar items on some pages and leave them on others.
Thank you!
Hello!
You can create a custom sidebar area on Appearance > Widgets, look for “Enfold Custom Widget Area”. You can apply the sidebar when you edit a page, look for Layout > select a right or left sidebar then select the name of the custom widget area that you just created.
Best regards,
