I want to creat a page with enfold ( visual editor) and everythime there is a 404 page I´d love to send users to that page… is that possible?

All you can do is edit the 404.php file.
As far as i know you cant use the visual editor to build the 404 page.

A workaround that would come to my mind would be to create a page called 404 and redirect to it inside the 404.php file.
    But i don’t think it’s a clean solution.

Let’s see what the support suggests ;)

    Hi!

Please go to Enfold/includes and edit error404.php file. As Flikk said, it is not possible to create 404 pages using ALB.

    Cheers!

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/404page/

You can use a simple plugin like the link above as well.

It is easy to use and worked for me.

    Best of luck!!

    Hi!

Did you follow any of the recommendations above and did you have any luck with them?

    Regards,
    Rikard

I toyed with a little and didn’t have any luck so I went with the plugin.

My fear of making adjustments outside of the Child Theme is they will be lost with updates so I am overly cautious at times and try to find a work around.

Rikard, I agree with Miachel, plugins works better right now but I would love to suggest for enfold team to help with this: maybe a way to set up the 404 page in the menu and we can edit 404 page with visual editor. It would be great :)

Miachel, plugin has a seo issue: the 404 page set up with plugin works like a 404 but it doesn´t return a 404 code error ( error redirect to the page with 200 sucess code). Be careful cause it can hurt your seo efforts

    Good to know, thanks.

    Hi!

    @seomartin
, yes maybe that option will be included in a future release, you can submit it as a feature request if you like: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/

@Michael0424 you can have the 404 page in your child theme too!

    Best regards,
    Rikard
