Hi,
I inserted a video element (vimeo link) in to a color section on top of the home page, just to give users the option to start the video manually. Then I tried to scale the video to 100% height, no matter what screen size users have. This scaling worked fine with a fullscreen video background in a color section. But I can’t get it working by inserting a video element and building some css around it. Can you help, please?
Cheers

Hey Matthias,
You’re looking to make it 100% of the screen even above the navigation or will the navigation remain on top? Please refer to the following for some guidance on how this may be achieved:

Hey Jordan,
many thanks for your guidance. Yes, the navigation must remain on top. Unfortunately, your proposal didn’t work. The delivered css makes color section no. 2 disappear and color section no. 3 cover the video, while the video still doesn’t fit in 100 % screen height. Perhaps caused by a misunderstanding: The video is inserted by the video element, not as color section background. Any suggestion?
Hi Livingbrian,
You can use the video as background for color section instead of the video element or a fullscreen slider, those are meant for cases like that.

Hi Victoria,
is there an option to allow users to start the video manually on demand, if inserted as a color section background? if no, please see my initial post.

Matthias
Hi Victoria,
I’m fine with the fullscreen slider solution. Thanks for your help.
